Angela Latimer is an African American film and television editor based in Los Angeles. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Angela discovered her passion for filmmaking while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Art and Science from Chicago State University. After graduation, she launched her career as a freelance editor in Chicago, where her talent for shaping emotionally resonant and culturally rich narratives quickly distinguished her in the field.

Her commitment to storytelling led her to the prestigious American Film Institute in Hollywood, where she earned her Master of Fine Arts in Editing. Angela began her professional journey as an Assistant Editor and has since advanced to editing high-profile television projects.

Her editorial credits include acclaimed series such as NBC Peacock’s BEL-AIR, Apple TV+’s SWAGGER, and Freeform’s GROWN-ISH. She is also a proud alumna of the American Cinema Editors (ACE) Diversity Mentorship Program, which supports rising talent from underrepresented communities.

Most recently, Angela has brought her editorial expertise to The CW’s ALL AMERICAN: HOMECOMING and the Netflix series FOREVER, continuing her commitment to dynamic, inclusive storytelling.
