Ryan Murphy is an Emmy Award-winning writer, director, and producer known for hits such as NIP/TUCK (2003), GLEE (2009), and AMERICAN HORROR STORY (2011). After receiving a journalism degree from Indiana University, he transitioned to screenwriting. Through his works he advocates for LGBTQ+ representation and inclusivity, and is also a creator of the Half Initiative, which aims at making Hollywood more inclusive for women and minorities.
